Fixing Bent Board Rack Forks

My forks got bent up while tied up recently. Has anybody successfully straightened them before or am I doomed to buying replacements?

Depends on what bent. Sometimes just replacing the bolts holding the forks on will straighten it enough.

The actual fork arm has bent. The fasteners are fine.

I’ve done slight bends with a vice and mini sledge. It won’t be 100% after but close enough. Also, if it was bad enough to bend the forks, go ahead and replace your fasteners, too. Even if they’re not visibly bent, the threads took way more load than they were designed for and are now weakened.

I had a broken one and ended up with a full replacement. I did not use all the parts so I may be able to help. Take a picture.

I used a long bar to bend it back... worked well enough

Even worse that it's in both directions. I didnt think about the long bar though. Ima have try that one.
