Latest LINC Software Version?

Anyone know what the latest LINC software should be for a 2020 GS22? I was looking for a code that our boat threw the other day for a port side NSS plate fault, and I ran across this message that appears to say that our brand-new 2020 GS22 (bought in June) has “outdated” LINC software. Do you guys know what version I should have, or what I should require our dealer to install when we drop off the boat for winterization and storage in the Fall?

The latest version is 20200506.

The update is easy, but you'll need to get the file from a dealer and put it on a USB stick, then update it through the USB port under the dash.

Are the LINC software updates 'a chargeable item ' from the Nautique dealer, or just freely available on request?

I have the original LINC ~2016, (not the LINC 2.0 Panoray system), and was wondering about updates for it.

Some dealers are willing to provide the file to you so that you can update it yourself.

I would imagine that if you took the boat in for them to update, they would likely charge you for their time.

And, by the way, the 2016 LINC is 2.0 in boats other than the G-series. LINC 3.0 was 2016+ in the G-series. Panoray was after that, but is still considered LINC 3.0.

I have a 200 with the similar outdated software to the OP. What is the trick to getting the panel off on the underside of the helm? I didn’t want to pry too hard and break something.

Isn't there a USB port on the underside of the dash? I haven't updated a 200 before, but on the other models you don't have to remove that panel.

I looked all over and couldn’t find one. I was even on the phone with my dealer and the service guy couldn’t tell me exactly where to look. He said he’d email his Nautique tech guy.
I’ll look again in the morning. Going for a slalom set if the wind is low.

Texted again this morning with my dealer. Service guy said that the USB in the glovebox for music is also the port used to update Linc. I couldn’t get it to update despite trying multiple USB drives, multiple formats, etc. The guy never mentioned a dealer code. In another thread on PN, I read that a dealer code is required. It’s possible that was for a different update. But maybe all Linc updates first require a dealer code. Regardless, using the music USB port sounds fishy since everything else I’ve read seems to indicate there is a port specifically for updates.

No, the port in the glove box will not update LINC, unless that's some weird thing only on the 200. If you look under the glove box, I bet you'll see that that port is connected directly to your stereo head unit, not LINC.

No dealer code is required for updating LINC.

EDIT: I just read through the 2020 200 manual. You should definitely have a port under the dash. See #9 in the graphic below.

Well then, I'm back to needing to remove the service panel. That thing is on there like glue. I tried again last night to remove it. I pulled pretty hard. So afraid I'm going to break some plastic bits.
i knew that updating Linc thorough the music USB sounded odd. And now I do remember seeing the above pic in the manual.

Post a picture of the underside of your dash and I can probably tell you the best way to get in there.

That panel should just be held in by Christmas trees.

If you can get something under the panel, work it over to the corners where the Christmas trees are located, and pry. It should pop right off with not too much effort.
