Hi all. I just purchased a sports 200 2016 and cannot manage to remove the prop nut.The prop is damaged and needs work. I am concerned about putting a lot of pressure on it with a ring spanner. I have hit it with some 5-56 and will let sit overnight but I does seem very tight. Any help would be great. Cheers

Once you've gone through all the chemical solutions (penetrating oils and such) I would hit it with either an air or electric impact gun. An impact gun will localize the torsional load directly to the nut. Using a socket will also keep you from slipping off the nut and rounding off the nut or worse yet hurting yourself. Also block the prop with a section of 4x4 against the hull to spread the load of the blade against the hull.
