2013 230 Tower will not lock in up position

Fairly new to us 2013 SANTE 230. We to take a day cruise and the tower was folded down for storage same as we have done the last 3-4 weeks. Bring it out, push tower up, rotate the levers to lock it in place, and it will not lock. I inspected and no broken parts on the inside of the tower. Anyone have this issue before? I called a dealer and haven't heard back yet.

Can someone take a picture of the locking mechanism when the tower is folded down???

Is this happenening in both sides? Seems extremely odd that both locking mechanisms would be malfunctioning. I’ve attached a couple of pictures. Hope this helps. I took a video as well, but don’t think I can attach a video here. If you PM me an email address I will send it to you. My tower is a Flight Control (not sure which model) on a 12’ SANTE 210.

Make sure you are rotating the locking arms all the way to the unlock position (as far as they will go) before you try to lock them again. They need this to reset themselves before locking.

Thank you both for the replies. Mine is different than the 2012 you have pictures of.

Eventually we got it, after about 2 hours or so. When unlocking we had to hit it with our hand further counter clockwise to reset it. Is it normal to have to reset it that far? Really had to give it the business!!!

No, it shouldn't be that hard. Is it both sides?

Yes it is both sides. The port side is a bit worse though.
