Is it possible to buy a kit to retrofit a 2010 SANTE 210 with Seadek like on the platform? and that i could install myself? tired of cleaning the carpet and waiting for it to dry.....
thanks! any idea how easy are they to install? do they just come with an adhesive backing or does it involve fancier separate adhesives i have to mix up? and do they cover the holes from the carpet snaps once i remove them?
They aren’t to bad to install at all, no mixing involved they do have adhesive already on the back. I personally would fill the screw holes and make sure surface is clean and dry, Dry fit pieces and stick them down. Will definitely give you a more modern feel and look to the inside of the boat.
No problem, I will add that after you dry fit them use some masking tape to mark a couple of the edges so when you go to apply them they will be where want them, peel off a corner to get the piece started then pull the rest of the backing off as you press it down similar to applying a vinyl graphic. Take your time and it will look great. Take some before and after pictures! Good luck

Clean the floor with acetone , Use masking tape hold in place , and peel the backing off in sections. Always start pressing from the middle of the piece of sea deck and work your way out to the edges.
Seadeck has great tutorials on YouTube. On scale of 1-10 of difficulty I rate it 4-5 . The hardest part is making sure everything stays aligned and you start to fab out the bigger pieces. Take the time to prep and tape and install is a breeze.
the biggest failures occur when air bubbles are left in the middle of a piece because you worked from outside in, or the edges aren’t sealed and pressed all the way down. So just ensure you fully press the entire piece in place. Using a rolling pin to finalize the install is a great failsafe.
thanks! i paste in the youtube videos in case anyone else monitoring need them. swatguy is correct - they make it look super easy. one question though - does anyone know how to take off the old pieces - the kit includes a couple pieces that are already installed. of course i could leave them, but then my nice new ones will \make the old ones look terrible.....?
When I removed the old Sano deck from my last boat I used a heat gun and this plastic non-marring scraper chisel set and it worked great, with the seadek you may be able to just heat it up and pull it off. After I got the pieces off I cleaned the surface with acetone to remove any glue left on. Then installed the new seadek. https://www.amazon.com/TCP-Global-No...+chisel&sr=8-4
Apologies for the thread hijack, but has anyone gone with a custom seadek design for their 210 aside from the standard faux teak pattern? I've seen a few apparently have used the SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE pattern with the shield that looks similar to the 'tapistron' carpet design. Anyone used something different?
