    Closed Cooling kit - 2006 PCM EX-330

New to me 2006 SN 196 with the EX-330. I need to install a half closed cooling system as the boat will be used in salt water. I am in Canada. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer that sells a suitable complete kit? Any tips or suggestions on the install are also appreciated.

Check with PCM, they made kits for their other engines in the past don’t see why they wouldn’t for the EX 330. With the Fords they made kits that included everything with even instructions on how to fit.

Thanks Gary, I couldn’t see anything obvious on their site, but will try getting someone on the phone to see if they still sell kits.

I ended up getting the local shop that used to be a Nautique dealer to piece together the PCM parts. PCM used to sell a complete kit but doesn't now, so someone with knowledge of what I needed had to put the part list together. PCM couldn't supply the heat exchanger bracket so this part was fabricated by the shop. They had a similar boat in the storage yard and their bracket was used as a template. The shop installed the system for me and it has ran well for the season (100+ hrs). I had to top up the cooling reservoir a few times in the first few hours but since then, it's worked perfect. For my configuration, the heat exchanger sits at the rear of the engine, over the transmission, unlike a lot of other engines that have the heat exchanger over the water pump (front of the engine), or down the lower side on some of the 90's Ski Nautique PCM's.

Nice work looks like a nice professional installation. Sad to see that the powers that be don't support their products.
