Gross Weight 2011 Sport Nautique

Hello all. Wondering if any of you can provide guidance on the gross weight of my 2011 Sport Nautique 200. The dry weight is listed at 3,200 lbs and I am wondering if this includes everything that came with the boat (i.e. tower, speakers, amp, seating etc.). We are looking at getting a boat lift and have a quote for one that has capacity for 4,000 lbs and am wondering if this is sufficient or if we should go with a 5,000 lbs capacity one.

Nautique's listed dry weight is the boat with all available options installed.

Even so, I would still advise going with at least 5,000 pounds capacity.

You can never have too much cow bell when it comes to a lift. Once again Jeff is spot on. Width is the other area I would recommend going bigger. For ski/wake boats I like the 120" width. I currently have a 4000 lb, 120" ShoreStation that very easily handles my 2016 Sport Nautique 200 but would gladly go to the 5000 lb, 120" if I had the chance.

The only downside to the bigger lifts is the bigger weight. Add a canopy to it and you'll need "4 men and a boy" to get it in and out. I can get my current lift in/out with me and one of my daughters if needed.

I have a 4000 lb lift for my (6 liter, amps, tower speakers) sport 200v. works fine but inwould recommend the 5000 lb. especially if you ever upgrade.
