PMC GT40 ECM cooked - now what?

Hey. So it's confirmed that my ECM in my 95 Ski Nautique is toast. Engine has 1300 hrs on it but has been running great. Compression test shows a little bit of differentiation but acceptable. Everything else checks out fine but I guess with that many hours on it you could say it's a tired engine (?)... Just seeing if anyone has put in a used ECM from nautique parts or gt40ecm.com? Other options? Whats a full engine replacement cost? Would be nice but maybe a pipe dream. Thanks for your input!

Also check the correct craft forum I believe there is a work around for a mustang ECM from those years and just getting it flashed with PCM software. It might be cheaper.

No it was on here where the fix was worked out. For around 200 you can have a working ECM. Or have Peter look yours over
I was going to wait till spring to announce this, but I have some possible good news for those of you worried about lack of replacement ECUs. I was working

I'll get some details for you from the mechanic - he had an old tester (looked like a pin board of some sort) they used for these ECM. He said something about permanently grounded and it was causing the fuel jets to run wide open. Even with the fuel pump not on it was sucking fuel right from the tank. He'd never seen anything like it. Also the emc wouldn't go into test mode.

That is something I would give a 80% chance of successful repair.
There are 2 transistors that drive the injectors. The can be replaced.

LOL, don't know anything about that site but there was a 92' SN listed for sale below in "Similar Items" that is either a bogus ad or he is using a fake pic, the one in the picture is a buddies 93' and definitely not for sale!!
