SV211 Rear Bilge Pump

Hey guys! I have an 04 SV211 that is pretty new to me. The last couple times out I have noticed a lot of water when I pull the plug. Today I was listening to the pumps and they were both going. At the end of our day out I noticed the water was over the t handle so I started looking at the pump. I found that the pump was on its side back behind the engine. I was able to hold it flat against the hull and have someone hit the bulge button and it dumped out a lot of the water. Good news - pump works, bad news - I can’t figure out where it is supposed to be mounted. It a Rule but there is a piece of plastics or something (light gray, 1/4” thick) bonded to the bottom.

Does anyone know where I am supposed to mount this thing? A picture would be a huge help!!

Thanks! That gray block is still attached to my bilge pump so the epoxy must have broke free. Shouldn’t be too hard to re-epoxy to the hull.

Do you know where I should put the block? The hose is only long enough to be placed somewhere behind the engine.

I'd say as close to the stern as possible as that's where water would collect while underway. The hose may dictate how far back you can go, though.
