Has anyone deleted their cats? Motorcycle aftermarket companies make a dongle to fool the o2 sensors to prevent codes. Havent had any luck with websearches for something similar. thanks

What is the make and model of the engine?
Is the same engine used in automotive application?
The only way to do this is to reprogramming the ecu.

2017 H5 which is a GM 5.3L but I have no idea how much is modified by PCM from how it would be automotively. I have had several motorcycles where I put the cat delete kit and the company included dongles to replace the pre cat 02 sensors and fooled the ECU which made reprogramming unnecessary. Deleting made a significant performance difference on the bikes and it seems silly to pay $1,000 for new cats if i find out they melted in my trouble shooting the next couple days but maybe nobody is making that kind of kit for inboards.....

Newer engines also use the after cat sensor for engine control and it makes it hard to build a dongle.
Older ecu only used the 2nd sensor to check the cat.
I do some research.
