Pertronix Electronic Distributor vs Sierra Electronic Distributor

Which gives superior, more reliable service: Pertronix Electronic Distributor or Sierra Electronic Distributor? I am replacing the worn out distributor and coil on my 1997 Ski Nautique [351w PCM engine; carburetor-equipped]. My Nautique dealer has suggested these two brands. Any input or advice would be much appreciated.

Sierra. Their units are basically Mallorys since they bought the company. I loved my Mallory. I never had good luck with Pertronix but most of my experience was with the conversion module for points, not the whole distributor.

      Go with PerformanceDistributors.com
Davis Unified Ignition (DUI). Can't go wrong with these bad-boys.

Agree with Jonny Quest DUI is the way to go . Make sure you get the HEI unit with the coil on top of the cap . I have three boats with 351W engines running them all work flawless.
