extra large fake a lake?

Went to Lake Powell and they cant figure out how to decontaminate the boat. The water intake for engine/ballast are both recessed and they cant get the suction cup to fit. Boat is 2001 SAN 210.

I either need to find a larger suction cup or a smaller one that would fit inside. Not having too much luck finding different sizes and dont want to wait 30 days.

Any ideas?

Can you disconnect the raw water hoses on the bilge side and directly feed a fresh water pressurized hose into the line you just pulled?

i can for the engine, unhook the hose right past the filter. the problem then would still be the ballast system.

Well....Half way there...

How about trying to fill the ballast tanks via the vent line? Dunno if this is possible but might be something to experiment with....

You can see the intake sits recessed. And yes I need to get the trailer painted

This is the port side. They said they would have the same problem with suction on this side but after looking at it that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I tried taking the hose coming off of the filter and and putting the decontamination hose into it and clamping it on. The pressure blew it right off.

They asked if they should do water first or turn on the engine first. I said the water, maybe that was a mistake?
