Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction on getting some mold/mildew stains out of some boat seats. New to me boat and I have thrown all I know at it. Just tried starbrite mold and mildew with little luck. Maybe with time they diminish? hopefully they are not trash! Let me know your thoughts please......thx

The sun will help. Magic eraser followed immediately by something like 303 will help. Bleach will help but be careful especially around the carpet. You don’t want to bleach often but it’ll be fine to give a good cleaning once and then stay on top of it with something else.

What is that stuff? Doesn't look like mold I have seen (but there's lots sooooo my opinion is far from definative.....)
Can you post some better pictures? What exactly have you tried?
Usually on any stain you have to decide how far you're willing to go. Start with the basic stuff and then increase the level of chemical until you get to the point of no return. No return being you're trying stuff that might kill the patient while attempting to save them.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
1997 Masters Edition Nautique - Zephyr Green - gone (amazing ski wake)
1982 Mastercraft Powerslot - gone (a primitive but wonderful beast)

I will look up pinking. Some history on the boat. There were no spots last year. I know as I put eyes on it last year. The person owned it had it winterized and shrink wrapped. It sat in a pretty damp area(in woods no sun) under a barn type structure this whole year. I am guessing the moisture could not escape the shrink?

Going forward after you re-skin that boat, I would not shrink wrap in those conditions. In a damp area for the winter it needs a dry-z-air heater and two boxes of damp rid checked on every other week or monthly and replaced and a regular cover preferably with vents. Shrink wrap and trapped moisture is like a green house for mold and mildew.

looking at the web info, along with some detailed posts from here, on pinking. It looks different then what I am seeing.....I am going to a detail shop in the area to pick their brain.
This was not my boat....till Sunday. I have always keep mine in a building and never have I shrink wrapped a boat.

There are two types of Pinking, bacterial and chemical, each is derived from similiar conditions. Luckily, bacterial might be treatable, unfortunately, chemical Pinking (which my boat has) is not treatable other than by leaving exposed to the sun. I call it a good reason to go boating in the heat!

Jeff used a product called Spray Nine Marine on some skins he was trying to clean up and the results were quite amazing. Not sure if it will help these or not.
You can search for the thread on here. Its not that old of a thread.
