Last night, full ballast, 3 people. 1 session was wakeboard pro setting. No problems. Then about an 1.5 hours of surfing. Then went back to pro wakeboarding. That was when my driver heard a fast flutter sound and a slight vibration that is fast. When the boat was running at less than 10 mph, it felt fine. But faster, it was starting to flutter and vibrate. Pulled the boat out, and the prop and everything looks fine.
Engine sounds like it is fluttering at over 9-12 mph. Slight vibration. I tried rev the engine but have never done it before. (I thought you pressed the button by the throttle lever base and the pull up on the throttle stick umbrella and push the throattle stick forward. But all it would do is go forward and not rev. I guess I don't know how to rev the engine. Anyone?)
Is it possible that the engine has bad spark plug, miss fire, bad bearing. The are no fault codes showing.
Bad fuel filter or bad octane.?
