Fuel Usage: Miles per Gal or Hours per Gal for a GT40?

Has anyone ever figured a mpg or gph for a 210 with a GT40 315hp? Reason being we are heading to Lake Powell next weekend and I am trying to calculate a range for the boat. I am sure weight and speed have a lot to do with it but I am looking for an average calculation. The boat will have 5 people, gear, running an ACME 856 prop (more rpms for less distance) thanks!

rule of thumb is 5 gals per 100 HP per hour. thats where HP is actual load not rated engine HP. For example if you are cruising at half throttle and pulling like 125 hp, you would burn a little over 6gph. you can look at the prop curve for actual hp

tried to keep track but when cruising at 30mph unweighted only with gear and people we averaged around 6-8 mpg, while weighted its gets real bad probably 8 gals per hour. We cruised 30 miles south of Bullfrog surfd/boarded straight for 3 days and returned and used about 110 gals fuel. Made me pucker until I pulled up next to a cigarette boat which cost 2000$ to fill up!

Got a SAN and I'd say we burn about 5 gph but it depends on how much weight your puttin in it. I thought only the MC owners cared about gas mileage !! Come to think of it, if we sent a few boats (with a few coolers) over to Iraq it would give 'em something to do rather than shootin each other. Thousands of years of war fighting each other when all they needed was some good footin . . .
