Ski Nautique 200 CB dash display problem

I purchased a used 2016 Ski Nautique 200 CB, occasionally the dash display will go from normal to scrolling horizontal lines, yellow, white and black in color. The boat continues to operate and perfect pass keeps working. Once the skier is done and I stop the boat, I turn off the ignition and once it powered down I turn off the battery switch. Once I turn everything back on it works normally and will continue to work for the rest of the ski session. It has happened twice now, on different occasions. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what was the cure?

Thanks for responding, I was thinking an update of the software might help. My local dealer is a newbie and doesn’t seem to have any experience or knowledge of Nautique boats. I will try to find a dealer with some qualified staff. I am only one month away from the five years so I don’t think I will purchase the warranty transfer.

There have been a couple posts with similar issues and the fix has been a new display. The display is $5K. It's possible you have a lose power connection or bad ground but at $5K I certainly wouldn't be willing to gamble on that.

If this were my boat I would make this repair job 1 even if that meant ending the season now. I would find a good dealer and schedule an appointment now to figure out what my options were on the transfer and repair. But that's just me and $5K is a lot of money to drop for not acting on this now.
