2008 sv211 warning alarm.

Today I was getting my boat out of the water. When I got an alarm it said rpm reduction in process see dealer and the temp started to rise. Well low and behold I got it on the trailer and found I sucked up a plastic bag into my raw water intake grate it pulled right out effortlessly. I got home and started the boat and the warning didn’t come back up. Will
this code pop up again and again till a dealer resets or since I fixed the issue does it just go away because everything is running fine.
Any help and advice is appreciated.

It should not come back. You should be all set unless the lack of water damaged the impeller.
