Hey all, I have a 2005 SV211 Air and am having trouble with the depth gauge. It is through the famous Faria Box and I'm not getting any readings from the depth gauge.
I've replaced the original sounder through the hull. I found I did not have continuity and figured that would solve the issue. The new cable came in and was an easy install but did not help. My depth gauge flashes "FT ----" and I am not able to see how to adjust it. All other gauges are good, although I cannot access some of the sub-menus on the Tach, etc but that is a post for another day after the season ends.
Is there something within the Faria box that needs repair? The new cable I installed had three wires so I combined the black and the bare wire together into one, and the blue wire as the power (as per internet searches said to do).
Does anyone have a super easy magical solution that fixes the part from the sending wire to the dash?
