Hunting for shower output in PME

Starting in 2004(?) the shower was no longer an option, however the shower button and the relay switch in the PME box is still there and functioning. Does anybody know which of the pin outputs from the PME that shower switch drives? In my SA210TE it looks like the wiring harness no longer includes the shower connections and the PME diagram on this site seems to support that conclusion (nothing labeled shower on it)

If you go with a Heater Craft shower kit, one option has a built in switch. You control the on/off from the temp controls. All you need is a 12V positive feed 10 amps) and negative to ground connection. You won’t have a fancy dashboard switch, but you will have warm water!

True! But that’s the easy way! I will do that if I can’t figure out the answer through this thread.

Having this zombie shower button will drive me nuts unless I at least try hard to make it work.

I couldn't find it either, but then again i didn't look all that hard. I was going to use it for the On/Off for my Roswell Night Waves, but ended up using the interior light switch. I had to remove the 2 interior lights under the gunnels when i installed the new tower, so that was the easiest way for me.

If you have a dashboard switch, you may be in good shape. On my 2001, I have a “Shower” switch, but no shower. The switch would light up, but that was all. I looked at the wiring diagram from this site and found the corresponding wire colors and the word “Shower”. If memory serves, it was a black and orange stripe wire. Then I opened up the wiring “bundle” under the dash. When I found the wires that matched the color description in the diagram, I used a volt meter to confirm power with the “Shower” dash switch. The rest was level one wiring...

I think I found it.

• In 2004 PME diagram the port 11 is the shower (Orange/black wire) https://www.planetnautique.com/Corre...INPLUG2003.pdf,
• in 2008 that same port 11 is just a plug. https://www.planetnautique.com/Corre...8210211PME.pdf
• Virtually everything else is the same (some changes for the ballast senders and Faria gateway that I think was new to 2006 model)

I'm betting that port is still functional, just no longer part of the wiring harness. I will check it out next week when back at the boat. I also found the PME breaker on the shower is only 7amps so if I get it working it will be driving a relay to power the shower pump which requires a 20amp fuse, not 7amp. An important point for anyone intending to do the same.
