How concerned should I be about the structure? Is a Professional survey needed?

im sorry for all the questions but I’m definitely a beginner and hoping to learn a lot along the way.

This boat will have all fiberglass stringers, floor, etc. Structure should not be a concern at all.

If you buy it, start a new thread in the restorations section and we'll help you get it all straight.

Thank you. I really appreciate it guys. Going to take a real good look at it on Sunday. I’m 99.9% sure I’m doing it unless I see something totally disturbing.
At that point I will buy new tires/bearings for the trailer, tow it home and set up shop in the garage.

Well, I bought it. 3k Comes with brand new never used wakeboard, tower, skis and a bunch of other stuff.
boat has 11 hours on it. Used twice.

This is gonna be a fun one to watch!

A gallon of Spray 9 Marine, a wet dry shop vac, a pressure washer and day of elbow grease might be my starting point.

Try to clean up a cushion and let’s see how it looks. The engine looks promising. Front of the trailer looks clean.

I’ve got marine31 ordered. I sprayed oxyclean on one of them and the majority of the stain is gone. Hoping M31 takes care of the rest.

don't worry about the electrical. Worst case scenario if its chewed up or destroyed you can make it easy on yourself ditch the fuel injection and all the wires and just throw a $200 edelbrock carb on a the existing engine if its good. If not, you can get a new long block from Napa for $1-2000. At that price you can't go wrong, providing you have the motivation to learn. Im currently rebuilding a 2001 pro air that has sat for five years after salt water. You learn quick to clean off corrosion, its all pretty easy. And as you can see, the great people on here are very willing to help you. Good luck!

I ended up buying this boat from the OP. The engine wiring is fine. If I can't get it running, I'll have PCM get it going.
