    Ski Pylon magic

I purchased a 1983 Ski Nautique from the original owner back in July. It was in great shape for an '83 with the original interior, etc. and didn't need any fiberglass work, as the gelcoat is spectacular. The painted stripes on the side are fading a bit, but for now since it's my 2nd Nautique, I'm in no hurry to do any major projects at this point. However, the ski pylon had some black stuff on it and it was just generally "tired". I pulled out some aluminum polish and a some good ole sweat and look at the difference. The first pic is after I had done a small portion, and the 2nd photo after I finished. Man, what a difference.
