    GT40 Distributor ignition pickup

Hi, I am looking for a Engine Stator (PIP) for a 1998 GT40. They are a bit hard to find here in Europe, so I would like to order one on eBay.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Distributor Ignition Pickup Standard LX237 and the LX237T, and what is the correct one to order?

    Thanks!

If no one answers here, email Discount Inboard Marine (here in the States) and ask your question. They will know and be able to assist.

You can also look up the OEM Ford part FOSZ-12A112-A or Motorcraft DU 51. Skidim shows an aftermarket part,Nautique Parts did not show anything. Here is the one I found going on ebay quick- These type of parts were supplied by Ford originally, there is no difference between them and a rebranded PCM part or for that matter marine. Maybe with these part numbers you might even be lucky to find one over there.
The part you see in the photo is the part you will receive. We will work with you to resolve any problems. ITEM LOCATION.

Are you sure you can replace this without removing the cam gear? I needed a new pickup on my GT-40 and recall trying to swap this part with no luck...ended up buying a manufactured distributor for about $100.

I know I have to remove the cam gear. Already did to remove the old stator.

About 8-9 months ago I had a chance to buy some gt40 parts one of them being a slightly used distributor. Rock Auto had a sale going on - 35 for a complete distributor. So I offered him 35 no tax and he had a work shipping account so that worked out well. Always good to check Rock out. Ebay is great as well you can find oem Ford or Motorcraft parts that were originally supplied by Ford to PCM without the "marine" markup.
