Hour meter not counting

Hi everyone,

I have a 2005 SV211 , and this summer the hour meter stop working..it has been working fine up until now..I have done many repairs/ modification to the boat over the years we owed it, but this one really puzzles me....don't knwo where to look or how to repair this one?

Any hints?

Did it stop at 999.9?

no it kept going..it's at 1079 ish right now...
