    2017 GS22 GoPro/Coutesy lighting

    Hi everyone,

We are looking to upgrade our current Nautique to a GS22. I would relay like a 2018, but the one coming up always have a little something that does not fit our tastes....

    2 questions:

    1. I see plenty of 2017,but one of the feature i really want is GoPro integration...now i know it is not available on 2017, but why?, what is missing to make it work? is there a way to upgrade Linc to make it work?...is it missing a wi-fi module? can it be added...i'm sure it's not impossible to do....we just need to know what is missing to make it work..

    2. the enhanced courtesy lighting is not available in 2017. Again, what is missing here?..is it simply a Linc software component, or are the led in 2017 only a single color?

    Thanks,

We did not get the Gopro option. There are several threads about peoples problems with them though, so I would look into that for more details. I would call a dealer tomorrow and ask about the details of adding those options, if you do not get a better response than mine tonight. Good luck the GS22 is a great boat. I would get the pro ballast as well.

I can confirm that I have a 2018 GS24 and have never been able to get the GoPro integration to work with basic pairing attempts.

the enhanced courtesy lighting was available in 2017. however, it was just white, not mulit colors. multi colors came out in 2018
i have looked into putting it into my boat, but is seems like it is a very expensive upgrade to do after the fact. it can be done though

expensive in that, Linc controller has to be modified or the LED in the boat are a simple color and not ,multi color?

I have a 17 and had a conversation with our local dealer about changing to RGB lighting. I was told that I needed to upgrade linc, add a controller, and run a third wire to all the cup-holders, lights and speakers. At that point, I was good with the white LED lights :-)

                thanks,
When I was buying a gopro for my GS22.........the dealer said I could only use a 5, 6, or 7. The 8 is not compatible

i didn't look into it that extensively, but the cupholders, courtesy lights, seat back light at least. then at least a programming update in the linc, possibly a controller.

As of now I know a little more.. not a lot, but still VERY confused...

So we signed a deal on GS22 2019... we saw they boat in a private owner's garage... with not a hole lot of time... problem is that the batteries were unplugged... so could not try anything..
Now I know LINC System has color selector for sure (owner ) sent me a picture of the screen....BUT he does not know if the lights change color cause he never used them....
Now there is no led rings around the cup holders and no light on the back of driver seat... at least there does not appear do be any....look at the pic and tell me...
                    The question is,
                    IF
I get led rings would I be able to make them work from LINC display or not?
I know the boat does NOT have 'enhanced curtassy lighting option..
Are those led on the speakers and inside the boat simply white, or are they RGB??
