    Seat Upholstery

I am in the UK, and as you may expect parts for my SAN ( 2000 ) are hard to come by.
I need to re-upholster the seats, ( bottom only, so all grey ) because they are splitting. Anyone know where i can get the fabric from and how much?
    Thanks.

I too am looking to re-skin the seats in my 2000 SAN. Just the gray seat cushions in the main seating area, the bow looks like new. After 6 years of climbing in and out and over the back to the swim step, several cracks and splits have formed, especially at the seams. Has anyone out there done this job? Is it a deal were you order the skins from CC then find a local upholstery shop to install.
    Thanks.

No pictures at moment, getting late here.
Mine have split in exactly the same place as yours wakefun. Just around the seams really. Can you get hold of the fabric? If you can, let me know please.
I did think about taking the seats to an upholsterer and seeing if the seams could be re-stiched some how.

I would suggest you just call your local dealer and order replacement vinyl skins from Correct Craft. They are easy to install yourself. Just undo the staples on the bottom, take the skin off and reapply. Be sure to use stainless steel staples when you put the new skin back on. Be sure to give your hull # to the dealer and he will provide that to Correct Craft to ensure you get the right skins.

I've got one that I need to install now. I'll try to take some pics when I replace it.

          Good luck.

My seats in my 97 ski were splitting just as you described. My local Nautique dealer recommended a good upholstery place here in Sydney Australia, which specialized in automotive and marine upholstery. They did a great job and replaced the grey material on all my seats. They said the material was even imported from the US.. the match was excellent. I'm sure you could find a marine upholstery specialist where you live and make a few enquiries.

            Good luck

            Pete

a 2000 needs new skins way to go CC. do you think CC will ever build a good boat again? their quality is really going down hill. as i work on more and more of them i can tell you they dont build them like the old days . they lucky they have the wool over peoples eyes because soon people are going to come to terms and realize they didnt get the quality they paid for. IMO.

the skins are way pricy from cc iwould recomend the aftermaket shop as well they can usually get very close on color for a third of the cost and the hold up better. i have had many boast redone by a local shop and they hold up well. just make sure they use marine grade materials. good luck

My 02' 210 seats are falling apart as well. I keep them coated with 303 but nothing seems to help. Very Frustrating!!
