In short form: Excalibur 330, 03 216....Went into limp mode. Dealer too far away to use the boat this weekend. I hear i can unhook the oil pressure sensor the water temp sensor. Ran it today normal temp and oil pressure. Question if I take those off will the engine light and beeping go off and quit? And one more question where in the H E double hockey sticks is the oil pressure sensor??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh it went into limp mode to a water hose coming off and running a little hot and i changed the impeller if that helps any.

RE: Im going crazy!!!!
You should be able to use an automotive OBDII scanner to see which it is oil or temp. I also beleive you can clear the limp mode by resetting the OBDII. This is the connector that looks just like the diagnostic port on your domestic car made after 1996.Nautiqueless in San Diego

RE: Im going crazy!!!!
A standard car style code reader will not work on this motor. The oil pressure switch is on the side where the oil filter is mounted on the chevy block, it looks like a black and brass colored round sensor with a hex portion with two wires going to it. The wire colors are blue and green. Disconnnect the wires and run the boat and see if the limp mode problem goes away.
