Hello all. I have a 2016 G23 and there is cracking in the paint where the painted vertical portion of the tower meets the painted base of the tower. A couple years ago I was told by my dealer that the tower manufacturer knew of the problem and would consider it a recall/warranty fix. Now they say its not. Has anyone else had this issue?

I would call Nautique directly if your dealer said no. Nautique may treat this like the broken shaft issues on the G's outside of their warranty periods and agree to replace/repair . This is only going to continue to get worse overtime.

The funny thing is this has been on going for two years. Originally I was told that my local dealer called nautilus and they said they don't manufacture or warranty the tower and some company called Ramlen does. Then Ramlen owned up to it and said it would be covered. Since then Ramlen just sent my dealer a touch up fix kit and basically said I need to get it fixed on my own dime. These cracks were present at 30 hours on the boat too.

I assume you mean they called Nautique.
The company manufacturing that tower was Diamondback. They were painted at Ram-Lin (the company that used to build Nautique trailers).I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.
