    Tower leg broke

Anyone had a tower leg crack like this? This is the fore, port side leg on a 2002 SAN. Metal fatigue? Manufacturing fault? Marina forklift driver hit the building? I don’t see any evidence of the latter.

Can this part be purchased anywhere or does the entire tower have to be replaced?

That part cannot be just purchased. Your best bet is to take and and have it welded. If you don't like that option you are going to have to get a new tower from New Dimensions

I had a similar problem with my 05, so I decided to upgrade the the Aviator Pro tower.

Did you have it fixed? Did you have to remove tower leg in order to get it welded?

It’s at the shop now. They have to remove the leg from the boat to weld it. I don’t know if they took the top part of the tower off first, but I hope so.
