Super Air Nautique Chromax Decals

Hey gang,

New to this group, so hopefully posting this in the correct manner. I have an 2006 SANTE 220 that I recently purchased and need to get a few things done. First order of business is to get the oxidation and stains removed. Plan on removing the decals in the process and upgrading to the Chromax Super Air Nautique decals that I see some of you have done.

My question is there is two different decals and a significant price difference but cant tell what is different about the decal?

Nautiqueparts.com has this one for $398/each:

They also sell this one for $215/each . Why would this one be nearly half the price? I looks to be a domed decal as well and not just a sticker. Whats the difference?

Anyone used Active Wake for their decal? Same quality as NautiqueParts?

Unless you're in love with the old graphics I'd move to the newer style. At that point going off brand really isn't an issue. I've used Domed Numbers as in the past and was happy with the results as well. Just remember that you'll probably have ghosting from the previous graphics that will need wet sanding an polishing as well as a season or two for them to fade away.

Thanks Stevemo14. That looks real nice. Is the tower from Roswell? I am considering that as a project down the road as I have a real hard time lowering my tower currently due to the weight of the FCT. Actually removed side wakeboard racks to make it more manageable.

The decals look nice. Wanted to try to stay with stock Chromax. Just can’t tell the difference between what’s offered on Nautique Parts for $398 and the other one on their site pictured above for $215. Don’t understand the price difference and I don’t see a size difference.

Chris Parsons the decals are vinyl, then they put something on top to "dome" them. They show the process on their website.

Shonchez that is the Roswell Aviator Pro, and it does have weight assist. If you have nothing on the tower its even too much and you have to unhook one of the springs.

Great upgrade IMO.

Go with the chromax, and the updated graphics if you can... well worth it. The PO did mine, so I cant take credit for it - but it sure does look nice. image widget

The two that I posted are both Chromax. I actually got a message back from NautiqueParts saying that the one that is $398 each is 3 in tall vs the other which 2.55 in. Pretty sure I want to go white so just wanted to make sure there isn’t a 3 in white Chromax available
