Hello Everyone,
First time boat owner and I have a question about using a battery tender plugged into a marinas shore power. I have a 2003 Super Air Nautique Team Edition and am going to be leaving it in a slip at a marina during the summer. I have read through these forums and the best solution seems to be leave it on bilge pump only mode and leave a battery tender plugged in. No info however on plugging into shore power.
The marina has standard 30 amp power. So batter tender -> extension cord -> https://www.westmarine.com/buy/marin...35?recordNum=8 -> shore power ? Is this a safe / my best option?
Right now my bilge pumps turn on and run constantly, but that is a separate issue. I need to pull them out and clean them first before making more guesses as to why they wont turn off.
Here is a picture of the boat just for fun. This is from the listing so I don't have the luxury of the large garage the previous owner did.
