Echoing SKI-224 question. Does anybody know if the GW0021 will work on a 2007 SANTE 220. Original gateway on this boat is GW0020A. Called Nautique parts and they have a list of 180 people waiting for the conversion kit, and are about 1 year out on sending any.
I should probably stay out of this as I don't have a background with this issue but has anyone considered the TRD conversion kits or will these not work on the boats in question.....
This one is for a 2008 Ski Nautique but it says they have other models available. I would think they should be similar with the exception of the cable lengths, no?
I just purchased a 2003 SANTE 210 and all the gauges work to my knowledge, should I go ahead and unplug the speedo tubes from the gateway box to save a future ruined gateway box? I didn’t use the speedo much in my last boat, and plus doesn’t the perfect pass display speed anyways?

The first would be on disconnecting the speedo tubes. I personally would and yes the PP has speed in it as well from the paddlewheel or GPS depending on what PP you have.
That said I'm too much of a "it all has to work and correctly' type of guy. If I disconnected the speedos and just left them dead in the dash it would drive me absolutely nuts. I would have to replace them with GPS speedos so I could sleep at night. This however would probably put me in another dilemma as I would need all the gauges to look the same. So moving down into that rat hole I would either take the speedo gauges to a gauge shop and have them converted to GPS or replace everything (yeah, I'm that bad). If I replaced everything I would probably go with the skiboatpartsonline set up, suck it up and get it done. I would then offer up a working Gateway box for sale and try to recover as much of my cost as possible. But that's me.
So I tested the boat yesterday, the speedo works for a second and dies immediately after. It continued this pattern the entire time I was on the lake. Since it doesn’t work properly I’m just going to disconnect them.
Do you have a link to the GPS kit? I used to work on boats and I installed one on a customers boat a few years ago, but they were the analog gauges from the mid 90’s Nautique. They worked flawlessly though.
