    super air 210 2001 model steering cable

    Hey people could any tell me, i have a san 210 midmount but has the hard rear tanks, can i replace the steering cable or do the tabks have to be pulled out to do so ? Thanks

    You will have to remove the Starboard hard tank. Its not that hard to do, its a few bracket screws, and a few hose clamps. I would use a heat gun to heat up the hoses to pull them off. It makes it a lot easier.

    On that note you are also going to want to remove the rear seat, and the fuel tank floor board. You will want to raise the rear starboard corner of the fuel tank to open up space for the new cable to pass through.

    I cut my cable at the helm with a cutoff wheel, and taped the new one to the old one, and pulled it through.
