The fittings on the nautique bag are epoxied into the bag so you can’t reuse them. I recommend 1” flow rite fittings so you can disconnect the bags if you need or want to. You can just unclamp the hose clamp and pull the old bag and fittings out on the fill and vent sides. It’s maybe a 20 minute job for both sides.

I personally don’t have an issue with drain. I do have a minor issue with fill. They run a tee to fill both the pro and underfloor bags. Water may start venting from the underfloor bags before the pro bags are full if you go with larger bags. I need to visually inspect that the pro bags are full. These days I found I can just hit fill twice and that’s close enough.
It looks like the fill fitting is at the rear corner of the bag and there isnt much slack there. Im not sure I even saw the clamp to remove the bag on the fill side.

Ill have to get in there this weekend and look at it closer. I didnt realize there werent quick connectors on the proballast fat sacs. So now I have to figure out if I need straight connectors or 90 deg connectors as well.

Oh yeah. I think the clamp is on the other side of the dividing wall. I’ll take a look at what I did next time I’m out there. I think I just installed a 1” barb coupler and ran a hose the rest of the way.

I talked to fatsac and they said their bags are like the factory bag so it doesn't need a quick connect. You just push the pipe onto the barbed connector and tighten with a worm drive clamp.

Also, I have heard lots of complaints about the ballast draining being an issue after swapping for bigger bags...............any issue with that?
Yeah we have trouble getting the port side to drain all the way. There are also issues with the ballast sensors. Sometimes the boat lists to port . Its kinda annoying.
