    2018 G21 Heater Install

I purchased a 2018 G21 this off season and it didn't have a heater so I added the heater craft 300. Install is fairly easy, other than I can tell if you had a pocket door mounting the heater core would be a pain. I have a couple questions before I finish it up though.
    1. I thought the wires would maybe be labeled, but they are not, I was going to email Nautique tomorrow, but if anyone knows I am assuming the orange wire, with black wire two wire harness must be the heater plug?

    2. For those that have installed the heater craft heater did you use the two pull out tubes and one standard vent? Or did you get a couple more standard vents to install? I have never had pull out tubes and not sure if I would ever pull them out and like the look of the standard vents better.

    3. Where are the factory vent locations? I was going to do one under the dash towards the driver. One on the angle of the drivers seat base blowing towards the back, and not sure for the third location. I am almost positive my 2017 210 had one on the port side in the middle, but it looks like a pain to run the heater ducting across the boat so was considering installing the third on on the starboard side as well.

I just installed the 4 port heater from HeaterCraft. I put a fixed vent under the helm with a louver that you can close. I put three pullout vents, one by the observers seat, one towards the back of the port side just before it turns the curve. I also put one just behind the drivers seat on the starboard side.
The pullout tubes are the way to go in my opinion. My wife pulls out the vent and puts it under a blanket, she's very happy. : ).
The vent under the helm keeps me warm but the other day it was real cold out and I pulled out the tube behind me and put it under my jacket. Was toasty warm....
The heater makes such a difference on cold mornings or evenings. It feels like I have a new boat.
I would totally recommend the putting in the pump since it will help you get the most out of the heater. My boat has the closed cooling so the antifreeze temps are nice and warm which helps the overall heat temperature coming out of the vents.
If you don't have a heater its worth it if you live in the North... I am in IL and been out on the boat for 3 weeks now.

Paul W Do you care to provide some pictures that help illustrate your install? We just recently purchased a 2021 G25 and I'd love to add this to it. Any and all pictures would be greatly appreciated along with a list of parts.

Sure I can do that, it will take a few days to get them from the boat. Took my first wakeboard set yesterday in Northern IL. So good to be riding again... : )

Old thread but, were you able to tie the heater into the factory linc system? Thanks

Yes I was, and did, it is the orange/black two wire harness, on my 2018 anyways. You only have on or off then instead of the heater craft switch, but I just wired it to high, so either off or high. PM if you need the dealer code to log in and turn the heater option on in the linc.
