Weekend trip with random electrical issue on my 2003 Model 206 Correct Craft... when running or trying to start the Volts would drop from 13.6 volts when running or 12.6 volts when ready to start(key on position) to volts aprox.. 5.8 - 6.5volts.. engine would stop or not start when this occurred. All gauges would shut off.. once volts came back everything working perfect. Sometimes when i hit the horn button it seemed to fix the problem.. removed horn fuse and still occurred. Used boat all weekend happened numerous times and yet 90% the boat functioned started and work perfect.. check all wires behind dash on the gauges and switches and nothing obvious.. Check all battery connections look very clean and solid?? any guidance would be appreciate. Battery volts shows 12.9 when not running.. when running at 13.8+. Starter battery Red top optima less than 3 years old.. starts very strong and horn loud when it functions correctly. Audio Battery brand new Odyssey.
