When I bought my 03 the hour meter was malfunctioning (still is) and the seller had a dealer verify the hours which they said they "pulled directly from the engine". (Excalibur 330) Does anyone have experience doing this and if so, what do you need to read the codes and where is the hookup? Thanks in advance!

You should be able to get to it by pressing the "Menu" and "Up" Buttons at the same time. here is a link to the manual.

IIR, the dealers typically have an engine diagnostic tool that interfaces to the ECU to read codes, etc. One function is that it can pull the ECU recorded running hours. Again...from memory....this is not a PCM tool but just a spendy diag tool available to mechanics and others who want to pony up the $$$.
Likely can seach the archives to locate the exact tool name.
I'd suspect this tool to be accurate unless the ECU's been swapped out....2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
1997 Masters Edition Nautique - Zephyr Green - gone (amazing ski wake)
1982 Mastercraft Powerslot - gone (a primitive but wonderful beast)
