Does anyone know of a posting or can they post how to change the transmission oil in a later model G23. I’ve searched the Forum and can not find any relevant posting. I have the 450hp ZZ6 PCM engine.

According to the PCM Maintenance schedule transmission fluid should be changed once a season. It's pretty easy to do. Use an oil extractor and suck all of the Trans fluid out through the dip stick opening. Replace with recommended fluid and capacity.

You can find the manuals for your particular engine by doing a Google search or look here...

By me Dextron III is not that easy to find. My Walmart stocks Pennzoil Dextron III so that is what I use. I would not use it if it doesn't specifically say Dextron III on the container.

I had similar questions about changing transmission and v drive fluid...Are you changing your v drive fluid every year as well? If not, what sort of schedule have you had your boats on? Manual says the v drive fluid is a "lifetime" fluid, but I find that hard to believe.
