Also, many (if not most) of these wheels are not rated for gelcoat/fiberglass. Most specifically say not to use it on those surfaces. Be sure the one you get is rated for gelcoat/fiberglass or you can burn the finish pretty easily.
So weird-I have de-badged three boats, three cars, three trucks and two jet skis in the last 20 years. I’ve used heat guns and hair dryers etc, but the best method by far for me has been letting the vehicle sit in the sun for an hour or more. Something about a thorough, uniform warming seems to be the ticket every time.
