HELP!!! 2006 SANTE - Water POURING from Propshaft on fake lake

• Owned boat for 1/2 season last year
• Bent prop on a shallow ramp at end of season
• ~600 hrs
• Just did impeller install for the season
• No water in bilge (that I can see)

But water is pumping out exhaust and is gushing from the prop seal area!!!!
I'm pretty freaked out and I cant imagine where this water is coming from :-)

Do you have a dripless shaft seal? IIR, they are water lubricated. I wonder if that's not what one looks like when you run the boat on the trailer?

That said...seems like a lot of water... Was there any shaft damage when the prop was bent?

That's exactly how mine looks on the fake-a-lake. Yep, completely normal with a dripless shaft seal. I had the same reaction at first, having come from a stuffing box in my 2000 Sport Nautique

WOW - thats interesting! This Miller Lite is being opened in celebration instead of frustration :-)

I'm a decent wrench, but not wanting to tear into the shaft / vdrive. Vdrive pan maybe this offseason for fun!
