First time out this season (2002 Ski 206) and the knock sensor warning is blinking. The engine (330 Excalibur) is running fine - no limp mode. I swapped out the knock sensor with a brand new one and the warning is still going off. I cleaned and wd40'd the connections. Still going off. Anyone have any ideas or do I just stick a piece of electrical tape over the warning screen like my wife does on the check engine light on her car?

My buddy has this issue on his 330 excalibur. IIR, he looked into it and the dealer has to clear the code....maybe someone can confirm. His boat runs fine as well.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
1997 Masters Edition Nautique - Zephyr Green - gone (amazing ski wake)
1982 Mastercraft Powerslot - gone (a primitive but wonderful beast)

I think silent Steven is right. If knock sensor is triggered, you can temporarily disable the warning at the Gage but it comes back. I think only way to get rid of is clear the code through a Codemate on the engine computer.

Yeah, the up and down button only turns off the alarm for a short time. Here's a link for the Codemate.
