    Gt40 ecm

Having trouble buying a working ECM. It is kind of obvious from the back of my circuit board where the burnt/corroded connection is and the pin from that space loosened and ended up in the connector plug when I pulled it off for the inspection. Does anyone know a good source to inspect my ECM- it may just need to be re-soldered.
I am on the wait list for another ECM but it would be a shame to leave this one without at least trying to fix it.

I can benchtest and most likely fix it, I'm in Virginia. I also have spare parts.

1-Read this PN link- 2- Send your old one in maybe Peter can fix it 3- Get your name off that list unless you can buy a known good one for around 200. I followed the recommendations in that thread and had under 200 invested at the time for a replacement. These are the guy's who did the leg work to find out what worked and that others have copied and now charge 700+ for the same thing. Pins and plugs are available to repair your 60 pin connector as well just have to google Ford EEC-IV replacement pins or Dorman 85346
I was going to wait till spring to announce this, but I have some possible good news for those of you worried about lack of replacement ECUs. I was working

There is also a guy somewhere that converts used automotive ecu's to proBoss by using a external chip.
I have never used one but its suppose to work great.
Google it if cant find it I can look it up later from home.
