Relatively new Nautique owner here; purchased a new 2019 GS 22 last summer. I've noticed that the oil pressure tends to run high (at least compared to what I would consider normal), often in the 70 PSI range.
Last night after a few hours of surfing, I started getting a siren every time I opened the throttle (speed was 11.2, and RPMs were in the 3500 range). The siren lasted slightly longer than the alarm that sounds when the speed control is engaged, and I initially confused the two. Eventually, however, I noticed a green lamp in the bottom of my Panoray that looked like a throttle/joystick with a downward curving arrow. It happened every time the oil pressure hit 80 PSI, and disappeared as soon as it dropped.
The engine didn't log any faults, and I cannot find any manual or internet info that shows that warning lamp. I'm usually not the type to shrug something like this off as "normal," since someone programed this alarm/lamp into the system for a reason, but I cannot figure it out. The boat stays in the water all summer, and is about 45 minutes away from our extremely busy dealer, so I would love to avoid pulling it and letting it sit for weeks in the shop.
Anyone have any advice/insight?
Thanks in advance!
