05 San 210 engine not turning over batteries and connections all good

Picked up boat from mechanic a week ago after having everything checked( belts hoses and so on) because didn't want to take boat out and worry about problems. First time out this year and hit start on key pad and all u hear is the fuel pump prime. Starter never kicks on at all nothing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure it is in neutral and that the safety / kill switch lanyard is properly attached before digging too deep...

Had this happen to me last weekend and after alot of frustration I realized I wasn’t in neutral. Of course there was an audience at the ramp too. My throttle is a bit “soft” and not easy to tell when I’m in neutral. Maybe the same for you.

Yep, what they said. Even if the safety lanyard appears to be attached, give it a little wiggle.

I seem to get bit on this at least once a year. With mine sometimes you have to giggle it a bit. Not a surgical instrument for sure.
