Destroyed my 4 blade OJ 13 prop # 7921 this weekend.
local shop only had a three blade OJ prop that is 13x13.
99 sport air nautique with 5.0L ford engine rated at 260 or 270 hp, fuel injected and GT40 heads.
am I going to notice a big change this weekend with three blade prop that is same pitch? At about 3300 rpm cruising I tend to be 25-26 mph on gps. Boat has a ton of hole shot. Would like better cruising speed for getting around when we aren’t boarding. Is acme 422 too much prop for this motor in this hull? Never done prop stuff before. Any suggestions would be great. Would like to order the right prop and keep one as a spare. Rpm holding wasn’t great with OJ 4 blade at speed.
