    No fuel gauges anywhere

Hi guys, newb here trying to replace a fuel gauge on our beloved 06 sante. its behaving pretty erratic and i assume it must be the gauge itself rather than the float or other more predictable parts.
with a shortage of these old gauges, is it possible to just wire in a similar 2" fuel gauge of another brand/ manufacturer?

Yes as long as the gauge reads the same ohm scale.
Unplug the sender at the fuel tank it should read empty. If you ground the sender wire it should read full

Being that they are still gateway gauges, I don;t think you can just wire in another gauge. I could be wrong, but the gauges are all daisy chained in the back, so I think they are specific to the gateway box.
