    Fuel Cap O-Ring

Anyone happen to know the size of O-Ring used on this style of fuel filler cap? I don't see it on Nautique Parts, and I think I'll ruin them if I try to remove to measure.

Replaced mine a few years ago, size I used was 1 3/4" ID, 1 15/16" OD, 3/32" width, got a pack of 25 viton o-rings off of Amazon cheap.

For anyone interested, I tried the -132 size o-ring, which is nominally 1 3/4" ID, 1 15/16" OD, 3/32" cross-section. They're close, but not quite right (I now have a bag of 100 because I apparently missed that second 0 when I ordered ).

        I think the -223 size is going to be the ticket (1 5/8" ID, 1 7/8" OD, 1/8" cross-section). I'll report back when they arrive--this time I didn't order 100!

I figure I will just toss them out at a parade this summer.

Another swing and a miss. The cross-section was just a bit too big on the 223 size, but at least I only ordered 4 this time. One last shot--trying a 3x41 mm metric size. Wish me luck.

Third time's a charm! For the record, a 3x41 mm o-ring is a perfect fit.

I got a pack of O rings at Lowe's for mine. There was one large ring that fit perfect.

MN Ryan, wait, that's only 2, where are the other 98 rings? lol
Good job, I know even though it took a few swings, others will benefit from your batting practice...
