    Boat stuck on Floe lift

So two weeks ago we were lowering the boat and just before the keel hit the water the lift stopped. Come to find that the plastic covering on wires to the winch motor had melted and the wires fused together. This is on a Flow VSD-8000 lift. The dealer said they filed a warranty claim for a new winch motor but Floe is backed up and he unsure when they will receive it. Spoke with dealer again on Monday and he is now saying they spoke with Floe and Floe does not have a winch motor but will be building one to send out, that comes across as odd to me but then again I am not in the manufacturing business. So two questions:
    1. Anyone have a good contact number for Floe?
    2. Any chance someone knows a way to raise or lower this lift without the motor, I assume not but might as well ask.

On top of all that it is been 90+ degrees here for the last week. That combined with the normally short season here, I am getting very annoyed. Makes me regret purchasing a lift without a manual option.

So motor showed up today and was a simple repair to swap. Come to find out that you can easily use a drill to raise and lower the lift, it even states how to do so on the lift motor case. Even though the repair tech for the dealer told me there wasn't a way to do so and I was not at the lift to see the instructions.

I was wondering about that. My BIL has a Shore Station lift and has the drill back-up option. I'm guessing your Floe has a similar (or likely the same) drive motor.
