2016 SAN 210 Port Ballast doesn't fill all the way and does stay filled.

New to me 2016 SAN 210. Starboard ballast fills full. Port Ballast, even with Quagga Filter turned on will not fill all the way (7/8 maybe...a bit limp). After surfing for a while the bag might be 5/8 full? Don't understand what is going on. New Impeller and checked the ANTI-SYPHON VALVE and it works perfect. Any ideas?

    THANKS!

If I had to guess your ballast sensors are toast . Common problem on late model Nautiques . I replaced all three of my ballast sensors on my 2017 G23

Ok, so in doing some research, I found the wiring diagram that shows there is a sensor (https://www.planetnautique.com/Corre...-230Wiring.pdf).

It looks like the old sensors are no longer available. Do you have a source for the old sensors?

Did you put in the new style sensor? (https://www.nautiqueparts.com/produc...ure-sensor-v2/)

Looks like I have to do a LINC update with the new sensor. Is that what you did? How did it go? (https://www.nautiqueparts.com/wp-con...son-Sensor.pdf)

Anyone have experience (easy/hard) and pictures of the install/replacement?

      Thanks for the help!

They are a PITA to change . Unless you are experienced DIY guy , this is not a task for you. Get your dealer to install . Super hard to get to the parts to change . Life is too short to DIY for this repair job

You do not want the old sensors. They were prone to failure. If you're going to replace them, go with the new ones.

I replaced all of mine on my own and updated the firmware as well. It wasn't too bad.

Charles, Can you tell me the location of the bow/center ballast tank sensor and how to get to it? I can't find it. Got the port and starboard out. Thanks for the help!

Yea, it's easy on a 210. Take the floor up. Should be 10 screws or so holding it down. In between the fuel tank and the belly ballast you'll see the belly bilge pump and the belly tank sensor.

I found that, but the sensor in that tank is connected to a hollow rubber tube. The new V2 Sender has a pigtail with an electrical plug. How does the new sensor connect?

Upgrade done, less than 1/2 hour with parts and LINC update in hand. Ballast works perfect now!
