    2016 with Ex343 engine problems

So I bought a 2016 SAN 210 with some hours on it. Got it home and realize the previous owner ran it out of the water and fried the impeller. I replaced the impeller, checked for debris in the water lines and got it running in my driveway with a hose just fine. Got to the lake yesterday, boat started and ran fine. Got up to operating temperature and came off plane and it just shut down. Now it won’t even turn over. Any ideas where to start?

Is it locked up ? Did you overheat it? If you overheated it in the water it can suck water back into the cylinders and lock it up.

So last time out it got up to 210 when I shut it down. After replacing the impeller I got it to run again though. Started it on a hose in the driveway and got up to 160 just fine. Then took to lake yesterday and got up to 160 again and like I said, it just shut down on me. Now won’t turn over at all.

Turns out it was the distributor cap. Replaced and it fired right up.
