    PP WakeboardPro Optimizing

    Hello,
I have been looking through my Perfect Pass manual, and I could use a little advice optimizing the settings. The boat is an '07 SV-211 TE. I've replaced the rear tanks with larger bags and added a few hundred pounds of lead to the bow. I have the PP WakeboardPro, and I've installed a Nautic Laugic NL-4 to use GPS instead of the paddle wheel.

I've noticed this with the boat loaded for surfing as well as lightly loaded for the kids skiing and wakeboarding (w/ the PP in wakeboard more) It will accelerate to (or slightly past) the set speed and engage, then back off a couple MPH before slowly climbing back to the set speed. For example, if I set it at 11.0, it will engage at 11.0 but then drop back to 9.5 or so before climbing back to 11.0. Once it's there, it works perfectly.

So, it seems like I need to adjust either the KDW, NN, or CS settings, but in reading through manual, I'm not really clear on which I should adjust. Does anyone that's familiar with these have any advice to help me tune it in?

Well, I got this ironed out with a little help from the folks at PP. I upped my KDW a bit and had to bump my CS value up quite a bit (it was actually set lower than the recommended normal value in the manual). Much better now!

I was having the same issue. KDW helped a bit. What is the CS value? this might be what i was missing. Thanks

Ryan747400 Here's a photo I took of that page of the manual for easy reference in the boat.

I hope it helps. Mine was set in the mid-600s. I'm at about 850 now.

I made a few adjustments on the weekend with the CS as you recommended and it is now engaging much better. I didnt spend a lot of time with it so I suspect that I could still fine tune it some more, but based on what i did, that was definitely the issue. We use the boat for surfing, wakeboarding, slalom and barefooting so i may need to figure out some values and change them on the fly based on ballast weight. Engagement is definitely quicker and smoother for surfing after increasing the CS. Thanks again for your help.

Sounds good. We do it all, too, so I'm sure I'll be adjusting as needed, too, but at least I know what to adjust now.
